With its more than 170 production teamWorx Television & Film GmbH is among the leading TV production companies in Germany and it is the european leader of mini-series productions. The company was founded by Nico Hofmann, Ariane Krampe and Wolf Bauer in 1998; Dr. Jürgen Schuster joining later as another director and producer. Additional producers are Sascha Schwingel, Benjamin Benedict and Jochen Laube.

teamWorx has created important trends with its elaborate event movies and has greatly influenced German TV. By now the manifold portfolio of films include mini-series such as "Dresden", "Die Flucht", "Schicksalsjahre" or "Hindenburg", but also award-winning TV movies such as "Mogadischu", "Rose" or "Der Mann aus der Pfalz". Additionally there are TV series such the adaptations of the crime novels by Donna Leon with Commissario Brunetti, documentaries like "The goalgetter's ship" and prominent debuts such as Florian Cossen's "The day is was not born".

Since the year 2000, teamWorx is supporting the student competition "First Steps", founded by Bernd Eichinger and Nico Hofmann.
